Helix Gaming is officially back, and under new ownership. HLX started in 2024 as a brand of Xiled, Inc. by Mr. XGN himself. Sadly, Helix Gaming was short-lived. Today, Helix is brought back by a former owner, HLX Typhon 7, and thing will be different.
Helix was created with a full rank structure in mind, and operated in a similar fashion to its predecessor, Xiled Gaming Network, under Xiled, Inc.. Today, the rank structure is gone, and Helix focuses on an Open Membership style for its members. Not only that, member placement (Divisions & Squads) were also removed from the community as well. Helix is taking a whole new approach to gaming communities alike. With open membership, those interested in joining can file an application for membership. If approved, they become a Trial Member for Helix Gaming. If the Trial Member does well during this period, they become an official member.
Let’s talk about Squads. Helix allows any member to create their own Squad, and they can either make the Squad open to anyone or keep it private for the member & their friends only. Squads can also, in the future, compete against each other in competitive gaming known as HeadHunters.
