Microsoft and Forza developer Playground have announced the launch times for Forza Horizon 6, confirming when players will be able to start their engines.
Forza Horizon 6 officially launches on May 19th, but those who paid for the Premium Edition will be able to play starting on May 15th, 4 days early. That goes for players on Steam as well as Xbox Series X|S. The game, which takes place in Japan, is coming to PS5, but not until later in the year.
If you still want to get an early start on the game, you can still purchase the Premium Edition for $120, or get the $60 upgrade bundle if you already purchased the base game. For Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users, Forza Horizon 6 is already included in your membership, but is not accessible until May 19th. If Game Pass members don’t want to wait, they can still buy the Premium Edition Upgrade to gain access on May 15th.
Given that Forza Horizon 6 launches at 12:01am local time, players are still wondering where you can change your console’s settings to New Zealand will work to get the game earlier than local time. Presumably, it will work, but that remains to be seen. However, Microsoft has also stated that this trick goes against its community standards.
