Helix Gaming offers its members the opportunity to create Squads within HLX. This is different from other gaming communities where a member is placed in a Squad within a Division. Helix has open membership, which means accepted applicants are just brought in as members of Helix. However, if a member wants to create a group for themselves & their friends, they can create a Squad within Helix Gaming.
Squads can either be made public, which means anyone can join the Squad, or they can be private, which means invite-only. These rules can be set in place by the person that creates the Squad, which is designated as the Squad Leader. Squads do not have to be game-specific, but they can be if they wish to be. Squads can be based on a certain game or theme, or can just be something known within a friend group. However, Squad names must be SFW and not be disgraceful towards any person, group, or anything in relation.
If your Squad has that competitive edge, we can help. Squads can battle out against each other in HeadHunters competition. HeadHunters is Helix’s internal competitive league. Square off against other Squads for fun, or for prizes!*
If you wish to create a Squad, you must be a full member of Helix Gaming. Trial Members are not allowed to create Squads. Any Squads that are created will have a page on the website for advertisement.
